A Modern Girl’s Year in Blogging: 2012 Edition
Happy New Year, everyone! It’s hard to believe that 2013 is already upon us, isn’t it? The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared one of their fun little annual reports for this blog, so I thought I’d share some of the information:
4,329 films were submitted to the 2012 Cannes Film Festival. This blog had 35,000 views in 2012. If each view were a film, this blog would power 8 Film Festivals.
In 2012, there were 41 new posts, growing the total archive of this blog to 295 posts. There were 315 pictures uploaded. That’s about 6 pictures per week.
The busiest day of the year was December 13th with 2,129 views. The most popular post that day was Welcome to the World of Tsugaru Shamisen.
