Golden Week Hiatus: New Posts Coming Soon!
As many of you know, we just finished Golden Week here in Japan, which partially explains my lack of updates. But on the plus side, I just returned from a fantastic trip to Aomori Prefecture in the northern part of the country (with a short stop in Hiraizumi in Iwate Prefecture), and I have lots of pictures and stories to share with you! Chusonji, the Sannai-Maruyama Archaeological Site, the Aomori Prefectural Art Museum, Nebuta House Warase, Furofushi Onsen, Hirosaki Castle, Osorezan, Tsugaru… we saw so much in such a short time!
Anyway, more about all of that coming soon. Until then, enjoy this picture of cherry blossoms in full bloom at Chusonji Temple in Hiraizumi!
